The state concern “Ukroboronprom” has presented the project of the first branch holding based on the “Iskra” research and production complex. This was announced by the deputy director of the Ukroboronprom Group of Companies Mustafa Nayem on his Facebook page.
The holding will be the first sectoral business unit to be created as a model for the corporatization of state-owned defense enterprises. Within the holding, both production and design bureaus will be united into a single group of companies. The holding is planned to be created on the basis of Iskra by merging nine enterprises-participants of Ukroboronprom.
The group of companies will have its own corporate center and will provide a full range of services. The relocation of industrial capacities of enterprises located in other regions of Ukraine and cleaning of assets of enterprises from excess property is provided as well.
