Actor Sergei Yurskiy died

Sergei Yurskiy, People’s Artist of the USSR, died at the age of 83, the press service of the Theatre of Moscow City Council (Teatr Moscovskovo soveta) reported.

Yurskiy was hospitalized at the end of December 2018. According to the relatives of the actor, he got to the hospital because of the high temperature. Then, the relatives clarified, he entered into a coma, from which he never left.

Sergei Yurskiy is known for the film “The Golden Calf” 1968, where he played the role of Ostap Bender, as well as the films “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed”, “Love and Dove”, “The Republic of ShKID”, “Do not be afraid, I’m with you” and many others.
