The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine had interviewed Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov, who was recently been freed from Russian captivity. This was reported in the press service of the UN Monitoring Mission.
Sentsov has provided Mission with information regarding his unlawful imprisonment. Representatives of the mission intend to interview all Ukrainian detainees.
UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission plan to use the information obtained during the interview for analyzing the human rights situation in Crimea, preparing public reports and advocating for accountability.
