Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Kate Gilmore reported that the armed conflict that continues in eastern Ukraine affects about five million citizens. The United Nations press service reports about it.
“For five years already this conflict has been affecting the life of the population of the whole country. Five million people are directly affected by fighting along the contact line”, Gilmore said.
