Fox News national security expert Morgan Ortagus was appointed as the new State Department representative. This was announced by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on his Twitter page.
Morgan Ortagus, a former employee of Fox News, has been appointed as the new US State Department official.
According to Pompeo, Ortagus experience as an intelligence analyst will benefit the State Department.
“She’ll lead our fight to communicate & defend US foreign policy. Welcome to our team Morgan.,” wrote Pompeo.
As The Journalist reported, Heather Nauert resigned as a representative of the US Department of State .
