In Austria, Federal Competition Authority has launched an investigation against Amazon due to its possible misuse of its position in the market and the preference of its own products for Austrian retailers. About this reports AFP.

"Austrian competition authority reported on Thursday that it launched an investigation into the giant American retailer Amazon because it probably abused its dominant position and preferred its own products to Austrian retailers in its market," report said.
It is noted that the company received complaints according to which the American company suddenly and unreasonably deleted the accounts of Austrian retailers. The regulator suspects that Amazon forced retailers to indicate the prices of products, and added to sellers’ accounts false information necessary for the delivery of goods.
