In Azerbaijan, with a difference of about 10 minutes, two earthquakes occurred – one with a magnitude of 4.5, the second with 5.0. This was reported by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reports UNN.
The epicenter of a more powerful earthquake was located at 131st km south-west of Baku; the center was located at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter of second earthquake was located 150 km south-west of the Azerbaijani capital; center was located at a depth of 40 km.
Information about the dead, the victims and the possible destruction that would trigger an earthquake is not available.
