To support Ukraine in 2019, Congress of the United States of America (USA) will provide $ 250 million, according to the previously approved «Law on the appropriations for the needs of the Ministry of Defense for 2019», which was signed the day before by US President Donald Trump reported on the official page of Ukrainian Embassy in the United States on Facebook.
«Pentagon budget for 2019 entered into force, which increased security assistance to Ukraine to $ 250 million. Thus, the amount of aid to our state for security and defense along the Pentagon has been increased by $ 50 million in comparison with budget for 2018», the report said.
«We highly appreciate the growing support of Ukraine as our key strategic partner, the United States of America, aimed at strengthening the defense capacity of our state in countering Russian aggression», the institution noted.
As previously reported by The Journalist, Trump ordered to ensure full implementation of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
