It is reported that building of museum in Rio de Janeiro, which in past was a royal palace, completely burned down.
It is noted that museum has stored more than 20 million exhibits, including in fields of anthropology, archeology, ethnology, geology, paleontology and zoology.
«The loss of the collection of National Museum is insurmountable for Brazil. Two hundred years of work, research and knowledge have been lost», wrote Brazilian President Michel Temer on his Twitter page.
