In the mountainous region of Schwegalp on January 10, three people were injured as a result of a snow avalanche. About this informs Swissinfo.

It is reported that a snow avalanche 300 meters wide has come down due to snowfall. As a result, dozens of cars were covered with snow, in addition, the avalanche pierced the windows of the Säntis hotel restaurant and filled the hall where the hotel guests were.
It is noted that three victims were hospitalized.
In turn, despite the fact that there are no missing people among the hotel guests, the rescuers intend to continue searching for people, because skiers or tourists who made mountain walks could get under the avalanche outside the hotel.
