On September 4, at 1:50 a.m., an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated on Zhasminovyj Blvd in Kharkiv. The IDE was thrown by an unknown person near one of the houses. As a result of the explosion, a 30-year-old man was injured. This is reported by the Informator news agency, quoting the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv Oblast.
The victim of the blast received fragmentation wounds and was taken to the Kharkiv city hospital for emergency medical care. The condition of his health doctors characterized as satisfactory.
It is noted that the place of incident was inspected by investigative-operational group and experts of the explosion-control department. Police officers have collected material evidence.
«Now the Police is establishing all the circumstances and trying to identify the attacker. The incident is being qualified under the Criminal Code of Ukraine,» – the statement said.
