Liverpool fans have been attacked by the masked hooligans in the city center of Kiev. As a result of the incident, the fans received cut wounds on the head and neck. It is reported by Mirror.
Fans of the English FC Liverpool, who came to the Champions League Final, were attacked in Kiev. Unknown attackers committed an attack in the Rooster restaurant, not far from NSC «Olimpiyskiy». A group of 20 males, in masks, attacked the fans of Liverpool, who were in the restaurant. They threw tables and chairs in English fans.
«We’ve been here for four hours and then we’re getting attacked. They came at us like a pack of dogs. It just kept coming. It was terrifying», – said one of the fans.
Fans were injured of varying degrees of severity. In particular, cuts and wounds of the head and neck are seen on victims. Law enforcement officers detained two attackers, and one Liverpool fan.
The 2018 UEFA Champions League Final will be held on May 26 in Kiev, at NSC «Olimpiyskiy». During the event, to the capital will arrive about 50 thousand guests.
