Free Wi-Fi network to be expanded in Kyiv

Kyiv City State Administration is looking for investors to build a Wi-Fi network, which will provide high-speed Internet access around Kyiv, League: Law reports.
The specialized municipal enterprise Kyivteleservice is determined by the construction customer. All preparatory work will be carried out by the municipal enterprise Kyiv Investment Agency.
Wi-Fi access points are planned to be installed on non-residential buildings, engineering and other structures.
The Kyiv City State Administration reports that within the framework of the Kyiv Smart City initiative, construction of a Wi-Fi network begun in tourist places of the capital since 2017.
Today, there is free Internet access on Andriyivskyy Descent, Kontraktova square, Mikhailovska square, Sofia and Pochtovaya Squares, Independence Square, Shevchenko Park, Golden Gates, Sports Palace, Ukraine Palace and NSC Olympiyskiy.
The access point is called KyivSmartCity.
