On February 16 and 17 in the capital, the Second Festival of Ukrainian Folk Dance GOPAKFEST will take place. About this reports Vechyrniy Kyiv.
The festival organizers note that "this will truly be the first, real Ukrainian ball in choreographic vocabulary of traditional Ukrainian dance with its own kind of ballroom ritual."
The main dance manager of the ball was the famous choreographer, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vyacheslav Vitkovskiy.
More than 1,000 dancers from all over Ukraine, aged 10 to 65, will take part in competitive performances, master classes and round tables will also be held.
The final event of the festival – “Ukrainian Ball” will be held on February 17 in the Column Hall of the Kyiv City Council.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that LADY OPERA will perform at National Philharmonic Society.
