Ukraine’s «Cyborg» – soldier, who defended Donetsk airport, was attacked in Kyiv

May 2, a group of five attackers – three men and two women, committed attack on an ATO veteran. The wounded soldier was given first aid. The Police are looking for the attackers and asks eyewitnesses to provide any related information on situation, – informs UNIAN.
Dmytro Verbych was attacked by a group of five persons on Kostiantynivska Street in Kyiv, Podil area. He fought back from the attackers and dodged a hammer blow. Faced with the resistance of Verbich, attackers disappeared after 20 seconds. Verbych’s friends who managed to arrive at the scene just minutes after the incident gave him first aid.

«Today, at 20:58, Dmytro Verbich, defender of the Donetsk Airport and ATO veteran, was attacked by unknown people. They stabbed him in the back, splashed a gas cartridge, wanted to strike him with hammer, but Dmytro dodged, so the attackers disappeared. They did not robed him. Apparently it was a purposeful attack of pro-Russian scums», – posted veteran Yuri Dmytrenko.

As «The Journalist» previously reported, an ATO veteran, Sergei Sovchenko was brutally killed in Kirovograd region, Ukraine.
