The Kyiv authorities are planning to build the subway to Troeshchina until 2025. The corresponding amendments were made to the Kyiv City State Administration order «on resuming construction of the Podilsko-Vyhurivska metro line». This is reported by the official portal of Kyiv.
In particular, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has signed a decree on the construction of a metro line to the Vyhurivshchyna-Troyeschina residential area in the period of 2018-2025.
«To carry out the construction of the Kyiv Metro Podilsko-Vyhurivska line from the ring road to the Vyhurivschyna-Troyeshchina residential area including electric depot in 2018-2025,» the order said.
It is noted that the development of project documentation should be provided in 2018 – 2020 period, its examination and approval is being carried out.
According to the document, the customer of the works is the Kyiv Metro municipal enterprise (except the Rusanovka Gardens Dam – the Raduzhnaya Metro Station section (Raduzhniy district).
It is known that the metro line to Troyeshchina is planned to be constructed from the Great Ring Road through the Sikorsky Kyiv City Airport to the Central Railway Station, Lukyanivka, Podil, Voskresenka, Troyeshchina districts. In accordance with the plan, the transfer stations will be the existing Tarasa Shevchenko, Lukyanivska, Vokzalna metro stations. Residents of Troyeshchina, Lisoviy, Voskresenka, Raduzhny districts, as well as the future multi-storey residential buildings on Rusanovsky Gardens are fall into the coverage zone of the metro transportation service. In addition, the metro will pass through two green recreation areas: the Gorbachikha Tract and Trukhanov Island.
As The Journalist reported, repair work at the Svyatoshyn metro station was extended until the end of the year.
