Rescuers eliminated 132 fires over past week in Kyiv

Rescue teams eliminated 132 fires in the capital in the period of Feb 18-24, the press service of the State Service of Emergencies in Kyiv reported.

“During the past week (February 18-24), the firefighters and rescue divisions of the Kyiv garrison carried out 261 rescue operations. As of today, firefighters eliminated 132 fires, 2 accidents, 44 times assisted metropolitan residents and other city services,” the message says.

The report notes that during this period 10 citizens were saved, out of which 2 children; 7 people were injured.
As The Journalist reported, during search operation on Pip Ivan Peak, three rescuers have frostbitten their hands and faces.
