In Turkey consul of Ukraine visited rescued sailors in hospital

In the north of Turkey, seven rescued sailors from a sunken ship are in hospitals. About this reports Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Andrii Sybyga wrote on his Twitter page.

“The Consul, together with representatives of the Ukrainian community, visited all the affected sailors in the hospitals of Samsun – they are in a satisfactory condition, they keep vigorously, help is provided,” the statement reads.

In turn, Sybyga thanked the Turkish rescuers for rescuing sailors from the icy water.

“I am grateful to the Turkish rescuers-the sailors were rescued after five hours in the icy water — a real miracle. Close contacts,” the ambassador added.

It is noted that there are seven sailors in hospitals: Shevchuk Stanyslav, Pavlo Mylnychenko, Oleh Herashchenko, Evhen Ilchenko, Evheny Yatsenko, Denys Skachko, Tetyana Budko.
Recall, on January 7, a vessel sank under the flag of Panama sank off the northern coast of Turkey. Six people, including four citizens of Ukraine died, seven more people managed to be saved.

Earlier, “Journalist” reported that the American landing ship would conduct exercises in the Black Sea.
