In Uzhorod schools quarantine was extended

In Uzhorod, due to an increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral diseases, quarantine in schools has been extended for the third week in a row – until February 15, reports UNIAN.

The anti-epidemic commission made a decision according to which the quarantine was extended in the city until February 15.
According to Uzhhorod city district branch of State Institution “Zakarpattia Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” in the regional center of Zakarparpattia, there is an insignificant decrease in incidence, but the epidemic situation with influenza and URTI in Uzhorod remains difficult.
“So, for the 6th week of the year, 1343 cases of SARS and influenza were registered, the incidence is 54.6% higher than the epidemic threshold, which indicates a high activity of the epidemic process,” the message says.
Doctors record more patients among the adult population and a decrease in the incidence among children.
