The new composition of the Ukrainian Oscar Committee will be announced on March 11, 2019. About this informs State Film Agency of Ukraine press service.
It is reported that National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, Association of Ukrainian Producers and State Agency of Ukraine on Cinema have announced beginning of formation of Ukrainian Oscar Committee.
“The committee will be formed from members of Public Council of Ukrainian Oscar Committee, which includes directors of Ukrainian films and film professionals who participated in class A festivals, and Ukrainians who are members of the European Film Academy,” the statement said.
The report notes that the nomination of candidates to the Oscar Committee will last until March 3, 2019, and the composition will be announced on March 11, 2019.
