During a speech at the Ukrainian Energy Forum-2019 in Kyiv, general director of DTEK Naftogaz Ihor Shchurov said that Ukraine plans to produce gas from a depth of 7 km reports 112.ua.
“Our goal is the transition to new deep horizons of more than 7,000 m, where no one has yet produced gas in Ukraine before us,” said Shchurov.
He also said that in four years the company increased gas production more than three times – from 500 million cubic meters to more than 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas.
