Ukraine tests modernized armored vehicle “Kozak-2”

The State Institute for Testing and Certification of Weapons and Military Equipment is testing modernized Kozak-2M1 multi-purpose armored vehicle, Ukrainian military portal informs.
The modernized military APV must pass a series of state tests and trials: passing fords, crossing off-road, ease of landing, etc.

“A fully independent suspension is installed; it is possible to lock all wheels. The machine is quite passable – the off terrain tests were conducted in places adapted exclusively for the movement of tracked vehicles,” the message says.

It is noted that Kozak-2M1 is designed for nine crew members; the armored car weight 12 tons and has a 280-horsepower 5.9 liter engine installed, as well as a 4×4 drive, equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox.
As The Journalist reported, an American destroyer had entered Odessa seaport.
