Last December, the official unemployment rate increased by 0.1 percentage points to 1.3%. This is reports Ua-independent according to State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the statistics service, as of January 1, 2019, 341,700 unemployed were registered with the State Employment Service.
As of December 1, 2018, 301 thousand unemployed were registered with the State Employment Service, while the number of vacancies in December was 58,400, and consequently, 6 people apply for one vacancy.
The average benefit for one unemployed person is 2876 hryvnia.
