State Service of Ukraine on Drugs and Drug Control temporarily banned the drug "ethyl alcohol" in the country.
"Based on the receipt of information from the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine … on the detection in circulation of drug samples ALCOHOL ETHYL 96%, solution for external use 96% 100 ml, SP 010 117 series, produced / labeled by the manufacturer LLC Production pharmaceutical company "Bio-Pharma LTD", Ukraine, in the amount of 87802 bottles, which significantly exceeds the amount specified in the manufacturer’s quality certificate (30373 bottles) … TEMPORALLY FORBIDDEN the implementation and use of the drug ETHYL ALCOHOL TREATMENT 96%, solution for external use 96% 100 ml each, series SP 010 117, manufactured / labeled by the manufacturer Pharmaceutical Production Company Bio-Pharma LTD, Ukraine, until a separate decision of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and control of narcotics ”, – it says in the document of the department.
At the same time, it is noted that when identifying samples of this medicinal product, a business entity should take measures to:
• withdrawal from circulation by placing in quarantine;
• informing the territorial body of the State Service on the relevant territory on the implementation of this order;
• prevent the purchase, sale and use of the medicinal product listed in this order.
