Some 188 towns and villages in six oblasts of Ukraine remain de-energized amid the bad weather conditions, the press service of the State Emergency Service reports.
The electricity supply was disrupted in 74 settlements in Cherkasy oblast, 69 in Kyiv oblast, 18 in Chernihiv oblast, 15 in Sumy oblast, 8 in Kirovohrad oblast and four in Dnipropetrovsk.
Regional energy distribution companies have deployed their repair teams to eliminate the aftermath of the blackouts.
As The Journalist reported, the river Khomora in Zhytomyr oblast is being polluted again.
