In Ukraine, about half of enterprises do not officially employ employees and pay salaries “in envelopes”. This was reported by the. Deputy Head of State Fiscal Service (SFS) Yevhen Bambizov writes Observer.

“There is a bright statistics from our side. Every second check on formal employment issues ends with a result. At every second enterprise – this is 50% or more – we find unofficial employees,” the message says.

It is noted that in the fall of 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers began to take measures on the labor market. As a result, businessmen actively began to de-invest the labor market and officially employ their workers. In 2019, this work is planned to continue.

“In the future, there should be information work on our part and on the part of other state bodies in order to convey to the understanding of our employers and workers the need for formal employment and social responsibility,” the acting head of the SFS.

Previously, the "Journalist" reported that the population of Ukraine decreased by more than 208 thousand people.
