Total, French energy company, makes large gas discovery offshore Great Britain.
According to the company’s website, the field was discovered in Glengorm reservoir under North Sea. Its estimated volume is 250 million barrels of oil.
The gas-bearing layer’s quality is assessed as good, the depth of the well is 5,056 meters. Now it is planned to continue drilling and testing the well in order to assess the reservoir resources and productivity.
