An employee of the regional military commissariat of the Vinnytsia region detained for bribery

An employee of the military registration/enlistment office who was demanded money from the draftee for the execution of the deferment, was caught red handed by the police. This was reported by the press service of by the Military Prosecutor Office of the Central Region of Ukraine.
As it became known, the captain of the military commissariat of the Vinnytsia region extorted a $ 100 and 2,600 UAH bribe from the recruit for registration of the postponement of military service for 3 months period.
It is noted that detention was carried out by the Military Prosecutor Office of the Vinnitsia garrison, directly after official has received a bribe.
After detention, the money was seized. The suspect’s actions are qualified under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receipt of unlawful benefit by an official).
«The Journalist» reported earlier, that official from the city of Vinnytsia extorted a gas column as a bribe.
