The current mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko, has won the election of the mayor of the capital in the first round – he gained more than 50% of the votes, Ukrainian Truth reports.
More than 700,000 citizens took part in the elections for the mayor of Kyiv.
Vitalii Klitschko won with the largest number of votes – more than 365,000, which is 50.52%.
