The space probe InSight, which has successfully landed on Mars, transmitted to the Earth an audio of the ‘red planet’ wind, recorded using a SEIS seismometer. This was announced on Twitter by NASA head Jim Bridenstine.

“People have never heard the sound of the Martian wind. Listen to the InSight’s records of Martian winds blew over our landing module. It is better to listen in headphones or with a subwoofer," said in a statement.

Recall, the InSight probe, which landed on Mars, is equipped with a SEIS seismometer, which should determine the level of seismic activity and features of the internal structure of Mars, as well as with the HP3 probe, which should determine the amount of heat emanating from the deep layers of Mars.
As The Journalist reported, NASA had published a selfie of ‘honorary Martians’.
