The famous online service of international money transfers, TransferGo, stated that Ukraine is the fastest growing market for money transfers.
About 350,000 money transfers were made via TransferGo to Ukraine over the past year. In total, more than EUR 70 million was transferred in 2018, which is 8 times more than in 2017.
“Today, more than 110,000 Ukrainians, mostly labor migrants in Europe, are TransferGo clients. At the same time, the total number of service users in the world is 900,000,” the League writes.
Note that, according to the Ministry of Social Policy, 3.2 million Ukrainians work abroad on a permanent basis. In addition, on average, “from 7 to 9 million people participate in the migration mobile process”.
As The Journalist reported, the state debt of Ukraine grew by more than USD 2 billion in just one year.
