Four exercises with combat firing of Buk-M1 air defense missile system, S-125 air defense missile system, C-300P / PO / B1 are planned for 2019.
For example, the first shooting will take place in February at Yagorlyk state testing ground in the Kherson region near the temporarily occupied Crimea, according to the Ministry of Defense with reference to the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Priority attention is traditionally paid to live firing. We are planning to conduct even more extensive exercises than last year. We are talking about combat firing with the Buk-M1 and S-300P composite anti-aircraft missile regiments. Divisions "three hundred" will be called to the area of combat training tasks suddenly, with standard weapons and military equipment. Of course, the situation will look more realistic. And that is exactly the main task,” said the head of the anti-aircraft missile forces, Yurii Stavskiy.
In general, four exercises are planned for 2019 with live firing of the Buk-M1 air defense missile system, S-125, S-300P / PO / B1 air defense missile systems. More than one and a half hundred different combat training activities will be conducted, such as command and staff, tactical exercises, training of duty personnel, etc.
