The Head of the SBU Vasyl Hrytsak said that the traitor was revealed and arrested. This is reported by Radio Liberty news agency.
According to Hrytsak, the «mole» was arrested on August 18 and held in custody.
«We have a lot of cases, unfortunately, where we’re working to vet both SBU operatives and other Ukrainian nationals working or serving in various institutions or military for their possible involvement in the operations of the Russian intelligence,» – said the head of the SBU.
As The Journalist reported earlier, citizen of Kharkiv, 84, was sentenced to 12 years in jail for espionage for the Russian Federation.
