The German Defense Minister, the candidate for the post of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at a European Parliament meeting stated that the dialogue with Russia should be held from a position of strength, the Deutsche Welle reported.
Ursula von der Leyen reminded the MEPs that “the Kremlin does not forgive weaknesses,” and its actions in Ukraine go beyond the limits of the current international law. In this regard, the German Defense Minister stressed the need to hold a dialogue with the Russian Federation from a position of strength.
