Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych appealed to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv with a lawsuit against Higher Qualification-Disciplinary Commission of Advocacy.
This is stated in the report on the court website.
“The plaintiff asks the court to declare the decision of the High Qualifications and Disciplinary Commission of Advocate dated March 29, 2019 to be unlawful, which revoked the decision to bring lawyer Ivan Angelin to disciplinary liability, namely, the deprivation of his right to engage in advocacy with the subsequent exclusion from the Unified Register of Lawyers of Ukraine. At present, the materials of the claim are being studied and the issue of opening the proceedings in a case is solved, ” the statement reads.
As reported by the Journalist, Yanukovych plans to return to Ukraine.
