For a year the number of Ukrainians with a wage greater than 10,000 UAH has doubled

The number of employees receiving salaries over 10,000 UAH has increased in Ukraine. This was reported by KMU’s «Governmental Portal».

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, 21.3% of working Ukrainians has a salary of 10,000 UAH or more. In March 2017 this indicator was 12.6%. At the same time, the number of people receiving the minimum wage decreased to 7.9% in comparison to 10.3% last year.
The highest number of workers with the salaries above 10,000-15,000 UAH are employed in the pharmaceutical, metallurgy and energy industries.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the average salary in Ukraine increased by 6% and amounted to 8382 UAH/Month.
