Over the past 24 hours, militants violated ceasefire regime 27 times, 4 times using heavy weapons. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
«Over the past day, June 3, the situation along the contact line remained controllable. The most active military operations continued in the areas of settlements Avdeevka, Novotroitskoe, Hnutove and Lebedynske. The Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime 27 times, 4 times opened fire from 122-mm guns and 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. The joint forces units conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy along the contact line», – the report said.
It is stressed that invaders continue to violate the norms of the international humanitarian law.
«At about 21:00 militants shelled the village of Talakivka from 152-mm guns. Terrorists fired at least three shells on the settlement», – the HQ staff noted.
According to the HQ JFO information, in a result of shelling there were no casualties; information about destruction is being verified. No killed and wounded are reported among the Ukrainian troops. According to intelligence data, the enemy suffered losses: one invader was killed.
As «The Journalist» reported, during the day militants opened fire 28 times on the Ukrainian army positions: three soldiers were wounded.
