Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has discussed with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas “creative ideas” on the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

This was stated by the Deputy head of the Presidential Administration Office Vadym Prystaiko, UNIAN informs.

“We’ve agreed that ‘Minsk’ will be applicable, and its [the Trilateral Contact Group – ed.] activities, which have been suspended for all this time, should start in a new way. There are certain creative ideas that have been discussed,” Pristayko stressed.

According to the Deputy head of the Presidential Administration, he cannot yet communicate these ideas since experts should discuss them and find specific solutions.

He clarified that “specific proposals” have been voiced. However, they will be made public after the expert discussion.

Separately, Pristayko stressed that there intentions to update the work of the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the situation in Donbas.

As The Journalist reported, Minsk Agreement does not provide for Donbas autonomy, but special local self-government.
