The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has dismissed the first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vitaliy Malikov, from military service in the reserve. The corresponding decree No.352/2019 was published on the presidential website.
“To dismiss Colonel General Malikov Vitaliy Volodymyrovych from military service in the reserve of the Security Service of Ukraine in connection with the organizational measures, with the right to wear military uniforms,” the decree says.
Earlier, Zelensky freed Malikov from the post of first deputy chairman of the Security Service and from his duties as head of the SBU’s Anti-Terrorist Center.
