President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the new head of the Service, Valerii Kondratyuk to reform the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, according to the press service of the President’s Office.
Zelensky stressed that effective identification of potential threats, assistance in the return of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, protection of national economic interests, assistance to the military-industrial complex and countering hostile information operations and protecting Ukrainians abroad should become a priority in the activities of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
The implementation of these tasks requires optimization of the organizational structure, all aspects of intelligence activities. Zelensky instructed Kondratyuk to focus on the indicated tasks.
