On October 16, President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an official visit to the Republic of Latvia, the presidential press service reported.
“During the visit, the president will meet with the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, the Speaker of the Sejm (Parliament) of Latvia Inara Murniece and the Prime Minister of Latvia, Krishjanis Karins,” the statement said.
The president will also meet with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Latvia.
Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Freedom Monument, and will also visit the Latvian Museum of Occupation. The president will also attend the opening ceremony of the memorial plaque to mark the 100th anniversary of the first diplomatic mission of Ukraine.
