Zelensky: Victims of explosion in an apartment building in Kiev will receive new housing

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that within a one and a half months, 28 new apartments will be handed over to the citizens affected by the explosion in a residential building in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

“I want to say that we found all 40 apartments. They are all in Kyiv – not in the region. These are new apartments. 12 apartments are ready – they are completed. Within a maximum of one and a half months, we will allocate another 28 apartments to the families,” Zelensky said.

According to the head of state, the state budget will not spend funds on the purchase of apartments.

“We talked to developers. The President’s office found developers who helped us,” Zelensky said.
