Groysman named 10 regions where 80% of roads were repaired

To date, in Ukraine, the road repair plan has been completed by 50%, reports press-service of the Government with reference to the statement of Prime Minister Volodymyrr Groysman.

«More than half of the plans have already been fulfilled. But in different regions this work is carried out in different ways. I set clear objectives: the pace (construction) should be accelerated, and the funds used efficiently and rationally. We conduct inspections, there will be audits on the completion of the facilities. Then, in September, we will understand who coped with the tasks and who did not», the prime minister said at a meeting on road construction and road development.

It is reported that the best course of repair work is performed in Volyn, Dnepropetrovska, Zakarpattia, Zaporozhia, Kirovograd, Lviv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kherson and Khmelnytskyi oblasts — 80% of roads are repaired here. In Chernivtsi and Sumy oblasts, the situation is the worst.

This year more than 45 billion hryvnias were allocated for road repairs.
