Stanley Kubrick’s lost script, which he wrote for the movie «Burning Secret» was discovered 60 years later. It is almost completed, reports The Guardian.

The text was discovered by Professor of Cinematography of Bangor University Nathan Abrams. He noted that the script is more than one hundred pages and is almost ready for filmmakers.
The film’s script, based on the same named novel by Stefan Zweig, tells of a man who is trying to make friends with a 10-year-old boy while relaxing at the resort in order to get close to his mother.
Kubrick wrote it in co-authorship with the writer Calder Willingham in 1956, as the manuscript preserved the mark of the MGM film company – «October 24, 1956». It is assumed that the company stopped work when it learned that Kubrick, in violation of the contract, was working on the film «Paths of Glory».
Recall Stanley Kubrick, known for his films « Full Metal Jacket» and «Lolita», died in 1999, leaving behind several unfinished projects.

Earlier «Journalist» reported that scenario of the sensational film «Form of Water» was called stolen.
