Stepan Kinash is the bronze medalist of European Youth Olympic Festival

Biathlonist Stepan Kinash won the first award for the Ukrainian team at XI Winter European Youth Olympic Festival, which takes place in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), informs unian.net/sport.
In the individual 12.5 km race, a Ukrainian on four firing lines made only one mistake, showed good speed at a distance and won the bronze medal of the prestigious forum.
The winner of the race was Hans Kellner with a score of 42 minutes, 47.3 seconds, the second — Benjamin Eric Menz. Both athletes represent Germany.
In the framework of the European Youth Olympic Festival more than 900 young athletes aged from 13 to 17 years from 46 European countries compete in the eight sports are competing.
The Ukrainian delegation is represented by 22 athletes in five sports: skiing (4), biathlon (8), ski racing (4), figure skating (2) and short track (4).
