The monument to the Defenders of Ukraine in the form of a tower of the Donetsk airport is being mounted and installed in the village of Dobroslav ( Limanskiy district, Odessa Oblast). It is noted that the monument will be opened on Ukraine’s Independence Day. This is reported by Ukrinform news agency, referring to the Dumskaya publication.
Sculptor Vitaliy Kvak and master of art forging Osvaldo Iskergo Fraga were the authors of the sculpture. It is known that the artists had already diversified Dobroslav with such art objects as Girl – Spring and Ten Commandments.
Recall, the tower of the Donetsk airport was collapsed on January 13, 2015.
«The monument, which is a stylized control tower of the Donetsk airport, became a symbol of the heroism of Ukrainian cyborg warriors, and will stand in the Dobroslav Glory Park,» – the message says.
Ceremony of the grand opening of the artistic and historical monument will be held on August 24.
