Ukraine ranks first in number of measles cases over the world

According to the World Health Organization, Ukraine, the Philippines and Brazil have the highest increase in measles cases in 2018, compared with 2017, the BBC Ukraine reported with reference to UNICEF.
Therefore, in Ukraine were registered 35,120 cases of measles in 2018. In the Philippines, were registered 15,599 cases of measles in 2018, and in Brazil – 10,262 cases. 98 countries of the world noted that the number of recorded cases of measles significantly increase in 2018 than it was in 2017.
UNICEF claims that this figures literally set to zero the progress in overcoming disease, which is very easy to prevent, but which can be deadly.
As The Journalist reported, over 80,000 Ukrainians have become ill since the beginning of the outbreak of measles in the country.
