In European Broadcasting Union (EBU) reacted to Ukraine’s decision to refuse from participating in the international Eurovision song contest-2019.
The corresponding commentary is published on official Eurovision site.
“With great regret, European Broadcasting Union can confirm that National Public Television Company of Ukraine informed EBU that after discussions they made difficult decision not to participate in the Eurovision 2019 contest,” the message said.
It is noted that on this issue there will be further discussions with the Ukrainian side.
“But we hope to see them again in 2020,” added the union.
