Vice-President of the European Commission for Euro and Social Dialogue, Valdis Dombrovskis, responsible for financial stability, financial services and the Union of Capital Markets will arrive in Ukraine with a two-day working visit, the press office of the European Union in Ukraine reported.
During his visit, Dombrovskis plans to meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Finance Minister of Ukraine Oksana Markarova.
He will discuss EU-Ukraine economic and financial cooperation and the provision of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.
Also, the Vice-President will meet with teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
On Friday, March 1, Dombrovskis plans to visit the Azov Sea region, where he will hold talks with regional and local authorities.
He also will visit the local port of Berdyansk and take part in the official opening of a kindergarten and a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, funded by the EU.
As The Journalist reported, EU will allocate over one million euros for restoration Pip Ivan observatory.
