Customs clearance of cars with foreign registration plates gives UAH 6.6 bln to Ukraine’s budget

The total amount of revenues to the budget received in result customs clearance of cars with foreign registration amounted to UAH 6.6 billion, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.
"From November 25, 2018 to February 14, 2019 citizens of Ukraine carried out customs clearance of 106,200 vehicles with foreign registration, which were imported into the customs territory of Ukraine from January 1, 2015, before new rules for the importation of such cars entered into force, and are under terms of temporary importation or transit mode,” the ministry reported.
The Ministry of Finance recalled that all payments received from customs clearance are allocated to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
As The Journalist reported, last three days of preferential customs clearance of cars with foreign registration customs unit will work until midnight.
